Leon Loughridge, Print Making Demonstration

Two Sessions: 10:30am-12pm & 1:30-3pm

We will see the Japanese style of printing, commonly referred to as Moku Hanga, demonstrated.  He describes the process as very spontaneous, and likes to think of the woodblocks as “woodblock paintings”. He uses a field sketch as a guide and then lets the woodblock image evolve, exploring and elaborating areas to reinforce the dynamic quality of the final image.
