Wheatpasting is a street art technique that uses a simple adhesive paste made from flour, sugar and water to attach thin paper posters to public walls and surfaces. It’s a popular, low-cost, and effective method for artists and advertisers to spread messages and artwork in urban environments, particularly where other forms of promotion are restricted. Wheatpasting is a direct action technique for communicating with your neighbors and redecorating your environment.
