Jaume Plensa Gallery Tour at the Denver Botanic Gardens

Based in Barcelona, Plensa is best known for his work, Crown Fountain, in Chicago’s Millennium Park.  His artworks have included materials from steel and bronze to resin, graphite and ink.  His work can be found at the Museum of Modern Art in NY, the Art Institute of Chicago and the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas.  Jaume Plensa: A New Humanism is the first retrospective of his work in the United States and explores themes of personal introspection and collective harmony.  This exhibition is one of a kind and in partnership with the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This will be a docent led, 45 minute tour.  Please join MAA! for an incredible experience.

Parking Suggestion: Garage is free, or street parking.  Summers can be busy so please carpool if possible.
Special Instructions:
This is a tour of the galleries inside the Freyer-Newman Center.  Please feel free to walk around the gardens after the tour and see his other works throughout the gardens.
